Google Authenticator is a widely used 2FA app that adds an extra layer of security to your CIEx account. In this article, we will guide you through the process of linking your CIEx wallet to Google Authenticator.
1-Login to your CIEx wallet -> Select the "Account List" option located at the top right corner of your screen.
2-Within the Account List section, search for the Google Authenticator option. Click on Connect and Follow the instruction.
3-Install Google Authenticator App (if you haven't already done so) or navigate to your smartphone's app store and download the Google Authenticator app. It is available for both Android and iOS devices.
4-Launch the Google Authenticator app on your smartphone. Tap on “+”, you will be presented with 2 options “Enter a setup key” and”” Scan a QR code”
1. Scan QR code: Select this option and point your phone's camera towards the QR code displayed on your computer screen.
2. Enter a setup key: Select this option and copy and paste the key manually.
5-Complete the process by entering your password and the verification code displayed in the Google authenticator app.
